A LITTLE CLARITY GOES A LONG WAY

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Getting started, publishing, plans and privacy.
Here is how your PinPilot workspace works.

Getting started

What is PinPilot?

PinPilot brings Pinterest content creation, review, scheduling and analytics into one workspace. Write a Pin, create its image, choose a public board and decide when it should go live.

Can I start for free?

Yes. New workspaces start on the Starter plan. Current limits are shown on the Pricing page. No card payment is collected during signup.

Do I need a Pinterest account?

You can prepare drafts and designs before connecting an account. Publishing and Pinterest analytics require an eligible Pinterest account connected through the official OAuth flow. Access also depends on the operator’s Pinterest developer approval.

Can I sign in with Google?

Yes, when the operator has configured Google sign-in. Existing email/password users connect Google from Settings after confirming their password. A matching email alone does not merge accounts.

Creating and publishing

Will AI publish Pins automatically?

No. AI suggestions and article imports become drafts. Review the copy and image, save the Pin and approve its current version before publishing or scheduling. Editing an approved Pin requires a fresh approval.

What can I create in the editor?

Crop, resize, rotate or flip your image; add text, a panel, a logo or a footer; apply a template and brand kit; then export PNG, JPEG or WebP, or save a new copy to your media library.

How does scheduling work?

Choose custom times, intervals or daily slots and review the preview in your workspace timezone. The app stores publish times in UTC. A working scheduler and queue worker are required for background publishing.

What if a publication fails?

The Failed page shows the recorded failure and available next steps. Rate limits and temporary errors may be retried. If Pinterest’s response is uncertain, check Pinterest before retrying so you do not accidentally create a duplicate.

Can I publish videos or bulk Pins?

Yes. Eligible videos use Pinterest’s media upload flow, and bulk creation supports multiple assets and shared fields. All content still needs valid board, media and approval checks.

Does the SEO score predict Pinterest ranking?

No. It is an internal checklist for useful fields such as title, keyword, description, destination and alt text. It is not a ranking guarantee or a Pinterest metric.

Plans and billing

What counts toward usage?

The workspace tracks created Pins, successful publications, AI credit usage, article imports and storage. Account and team limits apply too. Check Usage inside your workspace for the current period and allowance.

How do I upgrade?

Contact the site operator about the plan you want. Subscriptions are managed manually in this release. There is no built-in card checkout or automatic payment collection.

Can I use AI without buying a plan?

AI must first be enabled and configured by the operator. Your workspace also needs enough AI credits. The price of a plan does not itself activate an external AI provider.

What is the refund policy?

For manually arranged payments, ask the operator about the written terms attached to your order. The Refund Policy explains how to request a review; it does not promise an automatic refund or override statutory rights.

Accounts, team and privacy

Do you ask for my Pinterest password?

No. You authorize access on Pinterest and return to PinPilot. Pinterest access tokens are encrypted at rest. You can disconnect an account in PinPilot and revoke access in Pinterest.

Can my team review content?

Yes. Workspaces have owner, admin, editor, reviewer and viewer roles. Reviewers can approve the saved version of a Pin; plan limits control how many people can join.

Can I enable two-factor authentication?

Yes. Use an authenticator app in Settings and save your recovery codes. Google sign-in still requires your PinPilot two-factor code when two-factor authentication is enabled.

How do I delete my account?

Use Settings → Delete account, confirm your password and type DELETE. Google-only users first set a password using the reset email. Your owned workspaces and local content are deleted; Pins already published on Pinterest remain there.

Does this site use advertising cookies?

The supplied app uses cookies for sessions, CSRF protection and optional remembered sign-in. It does not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts. See the Cookie Policy for details.
